This advanced equipment performs comprehensive pouch cell manufacturing processes including top and side sealing, vacuum pre-sealing, vacuum second sealing, electrolyte injection, and vacuum standing operations in a single integrated system.
The top and side sealing section utilizes resistance heating tubes to transmit heat to copper sealing heads. Through heat conduction on lithium battery packaging material (aluminum laminated film), the material is heated and softened to near molten state under controlled pressure, completing the pressing and fusing process without requiring mold changes.
Operation workflow: Confirm air switch activation, start power supply, set temperature control instruments to specified values. When temperature reaches target, toggle to automatic mode, position cell in sealing area, and activate switch to initiate equipment operation.
The vacuum sealing process utilizes upper and lower cavities to form enclosed chambers. After creating negative pressure vacuum states, the system discharges cell gases through pre-encapsulated gas strip sections. The copper sealing heads then heat and fuse the aluminum laminated film packaging material.
Cells are erected in fixtures with rotary plunger metering for continuous, precise liquid measurement. Compact design allows independent use in glove boxes for manual injection. After completion, pressure plates are manually closed and lower cavities fastened to form sealed chambers.
The system employs secondary trapezoidal vacuuming methodology: initial vacuum to -70kPa with adjustable timing, followed by third vacuum to -95kPa negative pressure. This progressive approach prevents excessive electrolyte extraction while ensuring complete electrolyte penetration.
