The Automatic Die Cutting Machine is designed for continuous die cutting and forming of cathode and anode electrodes used in lithium-ion stacked batteries.

The machine supports rolled electrode feeding, automatic unwinding and correction, adjustable tension, continuous punching and automatic electrode handling. Different cutter molds can be provided according to customer requirements to produce battery electrodes in different shapes and sizes.

A precision punching system and synchronous PET film feeding system are used to achieve automatic punching and forming of rolled electrode materials, including tab structures.

Automatic Electrode Feeding

The machine uses a roll feeding mechanism. The electrode is fixed using an air expanding shaft, while rolling bearings allow convenient installation and material replacement.

Motor-driven automatic unwinding and precision correction help position the electrode accurately during feeding. High-precision sensors are used to correct feeding errors.

Die Cutting System

The die-cutting mechanism is driven by a servo motor and guided by linear bearings. The cutting die moves vertically to punch and form the electrode into the required shape.

The cutter can be quickly installed and replaced. A safety grating is also installed at the cutting workstation.

Electrode Handling

After die cutting, the electrode handling mechanism uses a servo motor and precision ball screw for accurate positioning. Suction cups are used to transport the electrodes while helping protect the electrode material.

Control System

The machine uses an HMI control system with adjustable speed parameters, fault location display, manual and automatic operation modes, fault alarms and three-color warning lights.

The software includes interlocking functions between different operating units to help prevent incorrect operation.
