Overview

This equipment can meet the production requirements for pouch cells top and side sealing, vacuum pre-sealing, vacuum second sealing, electrolyte filling, and vacuum standing.

1. Top and Side Sealing Section: The resistance heating tube transfers heat to the sealing head (brass), utilizing the thermal conduction effect on the lithium-ion battery packaging material (aluminum laminated film). Under a certain pressure, it heats and softens the material to a state close to melting, thereby completing the pressing and fusing. The equipment can achieve both top and side sealing without changing the sealing head. The production workflow of the equipment involves confirming the air switch is open, starting the power supply, and setting the temperature of the sealing head temperature controller to the specified value. Once the temperature reaches the set value, switch to automatic, place the battery cell at the sealing position, and press the momentary switch to start the equipment.

2. Electrolyte Filling and Vacuum Standing Section: (Filling pump optional) The battery is stood upright in a fixture, and the electrolyte filling is done using a precision filling pump. The equipment is compact in size and precise in filling, allowing for manual filling independently within a glove box. After the filling is completed, manually close the pressure plate to clamp and form a sealed chamber with the lower cavity (with adjustable timing), creating a vacuum static state.

3. Vacuum Pre-sealing and Vacuum Second Sealing Section: (Vacuum pump optional)

    3.1. First, use the upper and lower chambers to form a sealed cavity, then vacuum the cavity to create a negative pressure state. Puncture the pre-encapsulated gas belt to allow the gas inside the battery cell to be expelled. Utilize the upper and lower chambers to form a sealed cavity again, then vacuum the cavity to create a negative pressure state. After that, use the sealing head to apply thermal conduction effects on the packaging material of the lithium-ion battery (aluminum laminated film), heating it to soften and almost melt, causing it to fuse together.

3.2. This equipment is primarily used for vacuum extraction and hot pressing sealing of pouch cells after electrolyte filling and standing. The sealing head is made of brass, which has good heat conduction, saving electricity and improving work efficiency, making it more energy-efficient than similar products. The pressure of the upper and lower sealing heads can be adjusted through pressure regulating valves to achieve different process parameter requirements.

3.3. The sealing head is driven by a cylinder and guided by a linear guide sleeve, allowing flexible up and down movement and accurate guidance to ensure the parallelism requirement after the product is sealed; the waste liquid recovery device. Notes

1. Regularly wipe the upper and lower sealing heads and the vacuum chamber to maintain cleanliness.

2. Lubricate the moving parts of the bearings to ensure smooth movement.

3. If not in use for a long time, please wipe the surfaces of the moving parts clean and apply anti-rust oil to protect the surfaces.

4. Regularly inspect the screws, nuts, pins, and other fasteners of the machine to prevent malfunctions and accidents due to loosening.
